Leeds GovJam tickets were managed through an external booking platform, making it easy for participants to secure their place at this two-day public sector innovation event. The jam brought together people from diverse backgrounds — civil servants, designers, developers, and community members — all united by a shared desire to improve public services through creative thinking and collaboration. Attendees could expect a fast-paced, hands-on experience where teams formed around real challenges, working intensively to develop and test new ideas. The inclusive atmosphere encouraged everyone to contribute, regardless of their previous experience with service design or government work, making each jam a genuinely cross-sector learning opportunity.

Beyond the structured jamming sessions, the event fostered lasting connections among local changemakers passionate about making public services work better for everyone. Participants left not only with refined project concepts and fresh perspectives on tackling civic problems, but also with new friendships and professional networks that extended well beyond the two days. The community that formed around Leeds GovJam continued to share insights, tools, and techniques long after each edition closed. This spirit of ongoing collaboration reflected the broader Global GovJam movement, where local teams around the world simultaneously took on similar challenges, contributing to a worldwide conversation about innovation in the public sector.
